Not every day dawns into such a day
Where, the sun is sober
And,
The waves splash devoid the froth
The breeze I hear
Croons a song of her valour

At the dusk, I see
On the moonlit sky
Her eyes
that flutters like those of a village belle
Her lips
Which quivers for the love of her life
Her heart
that throbs to be embraced by him
To walk her into the euphoric galaxy of love

But now,
She’s cold
She’s frozen, with no emotions
Clad in a blanket of soil
Yet, yearning for a touch
From her beloved
Who lies oblivious of her presence
Next to her

How I wish,
I could play the cupid
To unite them
In their slumber
Only to see that serene smile on her face
Once again.

PS: We have only been talking about her grit and the valour with which she has driven the state and the politics. View this video, and you will find a beautiful lady with such captivating smile and a melodious singer who also loved life but never got an opportunity to live the way she had dreamt. Jayalalithaa has been buried next to the memorial of Dr MGR, her mentor, off Marina beach.

Oh my, my
It was a scandalous morning
I sat up on my bed
wrapped up in a blanket
I was cold
I was frozen
And, I was hustling to find
That which was missing;
I ran to the corners
I took a plunge underneath my bed
It was getting on my nerves

Oh my, my
These daring brazen rays
Flirting with my naked skin
Lampooning and poking fun
I climbed up the shelves
Checked-out through the window
Trust me, will you?
It was getting on my nerves big time
Yet, I couldn’t find those.

Where are my boxers?
My blue, blue boxers
The one which wrapped me last night

Oh, yes! I recall
I was drunk, I was tipsy
And, I wore them, the boxers on my head
Instead of my Hat, Oops!

On my bedspread last night
I saw you;
You knew how to hold my face
and, smudge my lips
to drench them in love.
Swaying in the trance
I let you fuse into my rhythm.
You blew heat waves into my ears
And I slithered into this sensuous sin.
The poison on my lips
And, the raunchiness in my eyes-
Drove us insane!
Touch me
Caress me
    Let us bleed
to dance in this music of lust.

The pungent smell of the rain
Drenches me in its nostalgic drizzle,
I am soaking in the faint memories of my childhood
That I never had.

Dad’s wake-up kiss
His warmth
Never breached the brim of his heart;
Articulating love was forbidden.

Mom’s love packed in the lunch box
Was blatantly mild,
It savored the hunger
Leaving the child in me starving for love.

The ride on dad’s bicycle to the school
Were the joyous rides ever;
The child that I never was
Was thrilled.

The blooms were gorgeous
The trees were green
And, the child that I never was
Bore a chubby cheek.

The sound of rain
On an old tin roof
Reminds me of my tender phase
Of being pristine and hopeful.

But then, the pungent smell of the rain
Carried thunders and storms
In the droplets
And, the child in me was put to sleep.

You must know this before I sigh a goodnight
It is your love for me
That has held me sane.
Wrap me up in your love
And, walk me through this fire,
Unscathed!
I have my own fears ‘bout the demons,
As, they may keep us apart
And, blind you from my warmth
How would you then fathom my love for you?
Gaze into your bright eyes
And, you’d find me in there
Guarding you against your tears
helping you smile.  :)

Ashamed I am not, Krishna
My sensuous pal, to make known
To this world ‘bout my yearning for you
For a speck of your tanned blue skin.
If you let me cuddle you
I‘d smack away for myself a bit of you
To smear it on my bare body.
But then, it so happened
That I’ve been beaten blue
By this reckless love
Which reflects how contagious
My yearning for you is.

It is my love for you, my Son
That’ll last forever
Until then,
Hold my lil finger and let’s
Walk through these clouds
That blinds us,
To a clear sky,
Where the sunshine awaits us.
Trust me; it is going to be fine
And,
Let this hug from me comfort you, my child.
You’ve come into my life
To make me realise, how strong I am
Let me cross my heart
We shall meet again, soon
As you are yet to leave your handprints
On the wall of my life.

  Son, my Son
Hear the waves of an ocean
That’s gone silent over the years;
Because
The moon had bid an adieu
On that awful day.
Son, my Son, my Moon
Come over
Kiss me
And, you’ll hear the ripples of love
Over again
In the ocean of my soul;
Come over
Come over
And, we'll fly to a land far off.

Lady, let me walk alone
I now love this lonely stroll
Ooh, ooh, ooh, honey
Lady, let me go
Would you?
I am through with you...Ooh...Ooh
Your kiss now doesn't reach my lips
Lady, you are out of my skin
Remember, you are the sole reason for the downfall
I’ve found a purpose to walk alone
And, it feels awesome
Just like the feel of the mist
Ooh, ooh, ooh, my love
Honey...
my alien girl
Let’s undo this love
Undo our love that once was
Ooh, ooh, ooh.
Lady, let me sleep alone
Through this wet, wet night.

O’ Lord, with boundless grace
Emperor of seven hills
the one with the captivating smile
Glory to you.
I, your subject
Circumambulate you with divine devotion.
O’ cowherd, Krishna
The one who held aloft the mountain
Glory to you.
All my life
I’ve seen you stand
In the sanctum-sanctorum, caged
In gold and diamond ornaments,
Obvious, you seem to relish such glory.
O’ divine, amongst all this opulence
Fades, the wail of my soul
I am choked
Uplift this fallen soul.
O’ lotus-eyed, descend into my heart
Let me coil you, to choke you
with my sorrows
Tell me, were you able to smile?

How elegant is that sight,
of you seated majestically
on a white swan
in the sanctum-sanctorum
draped in white, in compassion?
Your curls, truly symbolize the clouds.

Oh, Mother! you, they say
is truly the Queen of  Verses.

Then, why do you behave
as an uninformed?
Read, the soul which wails.

Oh, Mother, the fearless, shun the White,
 don the Red, Once and for all;
Stage the dance of destruction
Let those reverberations reach them tonight.

Spread open your third eye
Unleash the fire to turn them to ashes
Help this unfortunate, to end their Music.

In such ashes, is what I wish
to hold his little palm, help him write
the first letters of his life – “Pa”.
Won’t you bless us?

PS:  It is believed that Saraswati Vandana ends the darkness and brings in the Sunshine in one's life. Trust, this Navratri, ends the darkness in Ishaan's life and bring him bountiful Sunshine. May, goddess bless him. #IshaanAPai

Your eyes -
Those which are unequaled,
In those eyes, I see an ocean of love.
Then it ensued
you were infinite, once
without a form.
An eccentric like me
sketched those eyes, lips
the bosoms, where the gushing waves of love spatter.
In this new form of yours
did you ever notice, this fall guy
who's abstained from your love!
You failed the eccentric,
Oh, Mother Goddess!

Let there never be an end
To these dark nights devoid of love,
I’ve found glitter in the darkest of the nights
And now, they send to me their angels
To cuddle with;
They hear me breathe
Touch my soul.
Girl, they caress my skin like it’s our first time
And, my mourns have become my moans.
Then, together we grind
In such a way that you’ve never known
I’ve begun to rejoice the vacuum in your heart,
I pity you, for, you've lost me.
Love, you've become a stranger
A mere stranger...

The soil is moistened
With the tears of a mother
Whose son lies smeared with his cold blood far away.
The guns and the bombs go mute
With the reverberations of her heart beats, which wails
Resonating her love
For her martyred son,
Whom she had once wrapped in a woollen blanket to keep him warm ;
Now, lies cold and limp
On the bosom of the Mother Land.

Oh, Mother!
I am a coward, unlike your Son
and, so inept to console you.

Jai Hind.
