I, ache for a hug
a cuddle
an embrace, a squeeze, a caress,
Alas, I am touch deprived.

I crave to envelope
Someone special,
in my arms,
So tight,
Where,  we both
melt and mould
nullifying the
agony of life

Our mortal parts
brush to fondle
each other with love

The  pounding  hearts
When embosomed,
Tears of joy stream
flushing away the agony of life.

I feel safe
I sense your tenderness for me
I am comforted in distress
My soul pepped up.

Such miraculous is a HUG
I envisage obeing caressed

For, your warmth
your compassion
rejuvenates me.

My soul is then elated.

Bountiful  sins,
Vulnerable my soul,
 With the burden of Sins,
Oh, creator! Liberate me.

 I stand brittle,
With  head  bowed down,
fragile, paralyzed.
Inept even to stare
 Your deep, soothing eyes.

My soul gags
For, I have embezzled
that which doesn’t belong to me.

Oh, creator! redeem me.

Never was I lavish,
 ‘bout Care and affection
 on those who have
Mothered me!

Never was I religious,
No prayers,
No fastings.

Holy books to me.

My Life truly
an untamed horse.

Hurt and bruises
My giveaway to all.

I might have
Ceased to sin,
Only if you’d
raised an alarm.

Is what you are called!
But I realize,
You are a mere onlooker

Thus, Days and years
Has fallen off
my calendar.

Now, I realize!
I prostrate,
my ego
at your lotus feet.

Oh, Lord Vithala!
Unshackle me.

Aah, The Color Black!
Sentimentally bad
for a few.

Naah, Don’t typecast,
I ain’t a racist.

I am in love
with the color black,
and, the tanned.

You may  ponder, Why?
You look for reasons.

 Mr. Moon
with his shimmer
turns the dark sky

So, is Mr. Moon the reason?

Or, is it the
twinkling stars?

When in Dark
One learns
To overcome!

So, ability to overcome,
the reason?

I figure out.

 Black, ain't sad!

Black is colorful,
It is poetic!

Dark Black hair,
Color of  youth.

Black depicts, silence.
Silence, most often
the solution.

The Tanned,
The black
I love.

 My lil one,
My bundle of joy,
My lil Ishaan,
My Krishna,
Is tanned and dusky.

 He radiates love

Above all,
He has bestowed upon
The title

Aah, now do  you
 get the reason

 © 2015 Ajay Pai (Reserved)
I am him,
He’s Me,
He my Kin.

He is the reason,
He is the motive,
He is the cause.

I longed for him,
To cuddle,
To nuzzle,
To love,
To be loved.

He arrived,
He bestowed,
My wish Fulfilled.

Is he, the all?
Time shall speak.

Life is about
Being all-inclusive,
So is family.

It’s not about
Him, her or I,
It’s about Us.

The knot
Of love and two-getherness.

Now it’s him
Who holds us together,

From falling apart.

Sometimes I wonder
Does anyone care?

Maybe they do,
Maybe they don't.

A 4 letter word,
A verb, a noun.

Care - showcases concern
Care - cautions to be careful
Care -  is to Guard, to protect
Care - is as tender as nurture

Now I realize,
Who is concerned?
Whom to be careful of?
Whom to protect?
Whom to nurture?

A petty world,
Petty goals, petty desires,
Busy we all.

A very few care,
and, special they become!

Should care be reciprocated?
Now, I ponder upon.

Why should anyone care?
Does it really matter?

I toss, I turn,
I bury myself
In the reminiscences
Of my past.

I lay still, waiting,
To be swept away
Into the enormity of a reverie.

My ideal world,
A world of fancy,
Fancy, fantasy entwined,
I zip my eyes tight.

Whoa! In the trance,
I am caressed, by
the lightness, the buoyancy,
My soul beams.

I let myself free,
No inhibitions whatsoever.

.I live, I rejoice,
I be cheerful, I breathe

in my dream.

I reach for the stars,
Such is,
The supremacy of Dreams.

Then, the dawn dons,
Bleak becomes the dream,
The trance wrecked.

I wake up, eyes wide open,
And, there I witness
staring at me,
My ghastly Present!

The Day dawns,
With Morning dew on the leaves.

The race begins,
Sprinting towards office,
To be an achiever,
To reach the Stars.

the Financial year Stares.

The seductive grin of "Scorecard"
the Enchantress.
Alas, the Flirtatious 'enchantress'
never submissive.

The taxing customers,
The so-called customer expectation,
The run for customer delight,
Along with, the  irrational bosses,
Tantrums of the reportees.

Planning, Organizing,
Staffing, leading,
Directing, controlling,
Leading by example,
God Save,
Management and it's adjectives!

Yeah, Yeah! To 'forecast' included.

The towering targets,
The corporate politics,
Causing see-saw of emotions,
Phew!  A Prolonged day at the office.

The longest drive,
On the potholed roads,
The grilling traffic,
And the trickling sweat.

The smoke  and the  dust,
The honks of the vehicles,
The non-abiding driver,
The abusive pedestrian.

A day passes
Not knowing what has been achieved
Material Or Abstract?

“Give me thy legs”
Cannibals say.

On the table
I lay numb and frozen.

My feathers plucked,
My neck slit.

My family Moan!
the flesh-eater, celebrate.

No difference, I see
You and ISIS?

I am dressed up,
Neat and pretty.
I lay motionless,
On the plate.

The Plate – My Coffin.

My family awaits
their turn in the coop,
To be Crushed.

My unborn,
Supposedly, TO BE safe,
In the ovum.

You cook, Bake
and Gulp, my Unborn.

You go Blah, Blah
About Being Human!

Aah! Humanity a fossil.

Here, the weak

seldom practice
What you Preach!

You, Such a fake!

Oh, Human!
Don't You have a heart?

I Plead,
Live and Let live.

Every being deserves,
to live.
Live free and in glee.

They creep into me
While being alone

Draped in black,
Prickly emotions

Tremors invoke
Within, those unpleasant

Of past trials,
Cloned in forever

Days and nights
Bleeding my heart

I gaze to the horizon
In faith, to embrace

The breeze of the dawn
Soothes me

Escorting me
to a brighter

Liberating Us,
Me and My soul
from the
clutches of those
 prickly thoughts.

Oh!  Lil one
The charm of papa’s eye
Sleep, sleep, sleep.

Papa sees you yawn,
 With Snoozy Lil eyelids
Gliding to sleep.

Aunt slumber awaits
 to sway you
in the Moon’s cradle.

May the Lil angels
Visit you in dreams,
to hymn a soothing lullaby.

 oh, Lil One!
You are Papa's Melody,
Papa ain’t melodious.

 Hush, oh world!
My Lil one is asleep,
after a sleepless journey
last night.
