Wish, You'd Be Mine

I wish I'd be a Poet
Desirous of You

I caged you in my heart, hoping to gaze at you
You, craved for liberation, to fly beyond horizon

My emotions for you, brimming over my heart
Apathy, running over yours

I longed for a caring glance, to pierce my heart
Passing Stare of a stranger was the slice in my kitty

Your thought enticed me
Whereas, your words dissuade

Demure in your eyes, I fancied
Alas, Cockiness beamed through

Life was my Gift

Death your command.
