Does any one Care?

Sometimes I wonder
Does anyone care?

Maybe they do,
Maybe they don't.

"Care"
A 4 letter word,
A verb, a noun.

Care - showcases concern
Care - cautions to be careful
Care -  is to Guard, to protect
Care - is as tender as nurture

Now I realize,
Who is concerned?
Whom to be careful of?
Whom to protect?
Whom to nurture?

A petty world,
Petty goals, petty desires,
Busy we all.

A very few care,
and, special they become!

Should care be reciprocated?
Now, I ponder upon.

Why should anyone care?
Does it really matter?
