A spark in my heart
Sets me ablaze, tonight.
I recall,
The moment, when I saw your face
The first time ever.
Oh, good Lord, my eyes went blur
Oh boy! I’d become a Dad.
You were so pink, with rosy cheeks
And, tiny Lil nose.
Your eyes were my world, My son
Your eyes are my world, Lil one
Your eyes will remain my world, always...
It is a promise to honor,
For a lifetime and after.
