With a few metal coins
Held in my fist,
I circumambulate
The sanctum sanctorum
Trying to influence
The almighty.

As I stand face to face
I realize,
He's merely a stone carving,
Awaiting aid from someone
To light a lamp in the Sanctorum.

Reclined, in the ocean of compassion,
Oh, lotus eyed, you smile.

In your mesmerizing smile,
I sense my mockery.

 Am saddened,
Deeply hurt.

Should I be concerned
or, be relieved?

Unable to decipher your smile,
I sit confused.

Hey, Lakshmi Ramana,
I've been always graced by you.

My devotion now tested,
by the mortals.

Oh, Infinite!
Prove it to this ruthless World,
Of your presence in me,
for I am You.

No, dead I am not.

Not until the moment
He touches me;
With his lil fingers
Yet again!

Until such frame of time,
Let the physical me, Be.

Once, for once
Yet again,
I long to hear hiim utter - Pa.

Oh World, Caution him,
His lil fingers might hurt
For, I lay in my coffin
Lonely with a broken heart
and the sharp
shattered pieces
Lay all over ME.

Often, I feel heavy.
I gasp.

So Inept to carry me,
I  am swollen.

I can sense the stretch,
The radiating ache.

Heaviness, now
weighs me down.

Am unsure
Of what I've eaten.

Are sorrows
an unhealthy diet?

So thinks,
my heavy Heart.

Unusually dark
Is the night
Resembling a doomsday

A halt
A pause
And, two separate routes

Life moves on
Leaving the scars
Never to heal

Fate grinsmysterious.

 Counting the waves
I sat on the beach
Sun was sober
The day had paused

In my ears
The waves came whispering
‘Bout the past
Evoking ripples of emotions
From the depths

A gentle sigh
The clouds were clear
And
So was my heart

Do you hear,
The wail ?
The scream of my wrecked soul
From the depth
Of its very being?

I am certain of the day
When my screams would befall
Upon you as a bane
To engulf you
Into its horrid vacuum

With bated breath
I await!

Stripped
Refused
Damned
Cursed
Isolated
For being who I Am.

I remain the same Me
  Unchanged

Unaltered
From time immemorial

In Contrast,

I see you
I read you
I Realize

Your eyes don’t emote
the way they used to

They blink a different story
Of us.

The river of life
Continues its flow
Uneven
Cascading
 Through the rocks
Until it falls
From the edge
Down steep
Into the basin
Reflecting a rainbow
Spattering
Into the stillness.

Just the way
resembling the journey
Of my life.

Eyes they say
Mirror one’s soul

I wish
I could scoop them off

For
A mirror always
manipulates

As I flip through
my emotions
which lay all over me
And within,
I stumble upon
A moment
A frame of time
That Once was!
