As I stand brittle
numb
devoid of life
You envelop me

In such warmth
Of your hug
My heart brushes
with yours
Your heart kisses mine

I hear
I hear
You whisper in my ear
'All is well'

With a smile
My heart
breathes again

A tear rolls down my cheek.

I ask the eye,
Are you hurt?

Nope!
But, your Heart is,
thus says, the Eye.

Empathy, I see.

After I am gone
Will I be called by my name
When I lay there limp

After all, I lay
In the coffin, all dressed up
a mere lifeless corpse

The forlorn lane,
The drenched alley,
And, the lonesome me.

Unaware of whom I’d stumble into,
I head to my nest
Through the forlorn lane.

Blooms, the butterflies,
The memories, my comrades.
I stroll.

A gentle breeze passes by.

Her scent,
Her  fragrance,
My heart pounds.

The tinkle of the anklet,
The jingle of her bangles,
I wish it was her.

At a distance,
I see a glimpse,
Yes, it is She.

We meet face-to-face,
A decade later,
She, my Ex-Girlfriend.

Our Eyes lock,
Lips exchange smiles,
Yes, it is, indeed her.

She had proposed
not to me,
but to my friend
Shared her Yearning for him,
and a promise to wait till the doomsday,
with an open heart!
bruising me forever.

My girlfriend, the ex.

Today, Lil Ishaan, has had a hard time. His baby curls were trimmed down.

Snip, snip, snip,
And there go those Lil curls,
Silky and soft.

Lil Ishaan now dazed,
Puzzled,
His Eyeballs pop.

His eyes gaze,
Forefinger points,
Curious his face is.

Papa dons a  barber,
Mom  the pacifier,
Lil Ishaan naughty as ever.

When the scissors Open,
Lil Ishaan takes a bow.

The time the scissors shut,
Lil Ishaan holds his head high.

Papa Sings,
Momma dance,
The scissor does the Snip job.

Papa is proud,
Says,
I’ve done a neat job.

Lil Ishaan now annoyed,
History his curls are,
Says, culprit, Jerry the rat.

Before I get caught
I whisk her out of my bed
But not from my heart

The other woman
In my life and in my thoughts
Before I get caught

Serene is color White.
Calm, Angelic, soothing,
the synonyms.

View through my eyes,
 White is limp, lifeless.

 White symbolizes loneliness,
Reminds of being abandoned.

Color White a paradox,
Is, inauspicious and spiritual.

Give a thought,
The Color of Widows – White.

Vrindavan - Vibrant,
Krishna – The Buoyant, the Vivacious.

Inauspicious and weak?

Oh, Krishna
Essence of thy life - Love,
You the beloved of all,
You the omnipresent.

Oh, Lotus-Eyed!
Embosom these souls
Grace them to lead a life,

a life with ample color.

The seductive curves
Hushed voice suppressed emotions
Minors stay far off!

minors stay far off
with a strong urge to explore
rhythm of unison!

Hey Guys do you know +Archana Kapoor ?
Yea, she's my  blogger friend,  who blogs @ Drishti.Co This Haiku (Kamasutra) is an inspiration which I derived from the haiku which she has written on her blog titled  "Temple of love and its forbidden tales".
Kamasutra, the haiku, is a continuation of the one, which Archana has written on her blog.

The sea, the shore,
The sinking Sun,
The tiny ship at the horizon,
 evokes nostalgia.

The muddy sand,
The seashells,
Reminds me Of a childhood,
Which I never had.

The sea, the shore,
The nostalgia.

The foam, the bubbles,
My tiny Lil palm,
The Splashing waves,
The child in me  thrilled.

The sprinkles,
 the splashes of turbulent tides,
The tickling waves,
My floating sandals,
The Chase for the waves,
Reminds me of my wish
Which remains unfulfilled.

Countless pebbles,
 Seashells,
Which I've never counted,
Reminds me of
A Funless childhood.

I wander,
in search
of my childhood.

In the wet sand,
In the salty water,
With  drenched pants,
I lay asleep, limp.

In the arms of Mother Sea,
Where,
Tides become the cradle,
My childhood washed ashore.

I realize with a cringe,
My childhood was snatched!

Vidya Sury has tagged me for the “8 photos of Happiness Challenge”.

For me, this task was a herculean challenge.  I ran helter-skelter, dived into the albums, and chose 8 such photos of happiness.

Finally, here they are.

Pic 1.
I saw this snap and I realized, that I was on top of the world when I had received this pic of Ishaan on my mobile, (taken within few moments of his birth), had made me happy and I literally jumped out of sheer excitement.

This moment on I was termed "Pa".   Can you fathom that feeling?

Pic 2.

On the house-warming day in Kerala.

"Asha & I"

Pic 3.

What else in this earth is soothing than the cozy lap of your Mom?

Pic 4.
We celebrated Dad's  birthday first time ever. We did cut the cake too. ( We generally don't cut cakes for birthdays.)

Pic 5.
Look at Ishaan; even in deep slumber he smiles. So soothing.

Pic 6.
Seems like yesterday. Asha with  her brother and Sis-in-law. Awaiting for such a get-together again.

Pic 7.
Mom and her younger sibling. I love the bonding in this pic.

Pic 8.
Ishaan and  his Grandpa (My dad). I love the smile on my Dad's face more than Ishaan's cuteness in this pic.

Pic 9.
When Lord Krishna visited India :)  in 1990's.
My Sis and I (donning attire of Lord Krishna and Radha, during Krishnashtami.)

ThankYou @Vidya Sury for tagging me for the challenge. Also, linking to the creator of the tag Ariel Ward  Ariel’s little corner of the internet.

Now, let me take the liberty to tag my blogger friend Anamika Agnihotri for the challenge.

An evident
 naughty smile
Appear on my lips.

I hold her arm,
Her arm firm,
 Yet So Silky,
 Plus, inviting.

She plays the top.

Her fingers run
Through my curls,
Ah! I moan.

Her teeth leave scars,
The love bites.

Ecstatic, the tickling pain,
Pleasure mounts.

Her gentle rub,
Drives me nuts.

Her roughness,
Orgasmic.

I stand still,
She's in control,
I gasp!

 My curls rejoice
Her touch,
From shabby  to neat,
They lay.

Am mesmerized,
I drool,
I crave for more.

The touch, the rub,
The pain!

Fire flares up,

Aaah!
A cry of pleasure.

Silence.

My fingers still enveloped hers.

This a dirty affair
Of
My Comb
And my bald head.

The bewitching dream!
I sigh!
