Hey love, be all ears

Hear me whisper your name,

Do you?

Hold my arms

Let me sweep you off your feet

Let’s fall in love, again

Here, I sit  beneath the sensuous moon

Plucking the petals, of the Red rose

Awaiting for your tender embrace.

A spark in my heart

Sets me ablaze, tonight.

I recall,

The moment, when I saw your face

The first time ever.

Oh, good Lord, my eyes went blur

Oh boy! I’d become a Dad.

You were so pink,  with rosy cheeks

And, tiny Lil nose.

Your eyes were my world, My son

Your eyes are my world, Lil one

Your eyes will remain my world, always...

It is a promise to honor,

For a lifetime and after.

A blanket for the winter,

Was all we needed

to  keep us tender and snug.

Thread by thread,

Smeared with love

for Us,

I’d begun to weave.

I am so shaken

when you uttered,

One for Me

Another for You.

I am wounded,

As I realized

What you meant!

The more I try to free myself,

I am entangled further,
entwined.

The word “Free” the cause, 
they enunciate.

Ah,  material world

Nothing is “Free” here

‘Free’, is a gimmick.
